Sisters of Sigmar - Sigmarite Sister #2

Here’s the second Sigmarite Sister for my Sisters of Sigmar warband. The legs, torso, and arms come from the Repentia Squad, the head is from the Sisters Novitiate Squad box (both Warhammer 40,000 Adepta Sororitas kits). The hammer comes from the Age of Sigmar Pox-Wretches and a hand with the dagger from the ToW Wild Riders.

Druga szeregowa siostrzyczka do mojej bandy Sióstr Sigmara. Nogi, tors i ramiona wziąłem z zestawu Repentia Squad, a głowę z Sisters Novitiate Squad (oba pudełka z czterdziestkowych Adepta Sororitas). Młot podkradłem z AoS-owych Pox-Wretches, a dłoń ze sztyletem - z oldworldowych Wild Riderów.

When writing about Augur, I mentioned that I’d soon have to get to work on the Sisters of Sigmar henchwomen. I struck while the iron was hot, figured out how the regular Sisters in my warband would differ from the Superiors, and boom - here’s the first one.

The legs, torso, and arms come from the Repentia Squad, the head is from the Sisters Novitiate Squad box (both Warhammer 40,000 Adepta Sororitas kits). The hammer comes from the Age of Sigmar Deadwalker Zombies.

Pisałem przy okazji Augurki, że trzeba się będzie zaraz wziąć za popleczniczki. Poszedłem za ciosem, wymyśliłem, czym regularne Siostrzyczki będą się w mojej bandzie różnić się od Przełożonych i cyk - jest pierwsza. Nogi, tułów i ręce ma z pudełka Repentia Squad, a głowę z zestawu Sister Novitiates (oba z czterdziestkowych Adepta Sororitas). Młotek dostała z AoS-owych Deadwalker Zombies.

Idzie luty, podkuj buty

Figurkowy Karnawał Blogowy (FKB) to comiesięczna inicjatywa motywacyjno-integracyjna polskiej społeczności figurkowo-blogowej, prowadzona nieprzerwanie od ponad dziesięciu lat. W każdej edycji inna osoba wyznacza temat (lista dotychczasowych dostępna jest tutaj), a pozostali uczestnicy przygotowują i publikują wpisy będące własnym ujęciem zaproponowanego hasła. Temat 138. Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego brzmi „Idzie luty, podkuj bity”.

Interpretacji (jak zawsze) może być wiele:

• chodzenie jako takie, figurki w wykroku i konie w galopie;
• zima, mróz, lód i śnieg;
• dziadek mróz, majestatyczni mędrcy, białobrode kraśki;
• ludki lute, a więc srogie, okrutne i dzikie;
• kowale, młotkowi, metale, podkowy;
• obuwie w ogóle: buciory, kozaki, trampeczki, kierpce, ciżemki, sandały;
• nosiciele obuwia, osoby obute i wręcz przeciwnie - bracia bosi;
• wszystko inne, co mniej więcej pasuje.

Flora, Grim Sylvaneth Dryad

I’m between projects, trying to decide which unfinished Warhammer Underworlds warband to tackle next (Brethren of the Bolt, Chosen Axes, Ironsoul’s Condemnors, Kainan’s Reapers, Kamandora’s Blades, Khagra’s Ravagers, Mollog’s Mob, Storm of Celestus, Zarbag’s Gitz, or Zondara’s Gravebreakers). While weighing my options, I took the opportunity to paint a single dryad purely for fun. Meet Flora - a grim Sylvaneth Dryad.

Rzadko zdarza mi się, żeby karnawałowy wpis na FKB był tak bardzo na temat :D Przypominam, że za sprawą autora Akwarium Pana Ryby styczniowe hasło brzmi „Flora”. Miałem akurat miejsce między underworldsowymi projektami, więc poskładałem z sylvanethowych bitsów okaz flory warhammerowych lasów, na podstawce i „spódnicy” użyłem m.in. rzeczywistej flory, a zjawisku dałem na imię Flora. Beat that, Karnawałowicze xD

Sisters of Sigmar - Augur

I put together a new Augur. It’s a fairly simple conversion made using a WH40K Adepta Sororitas Imagifier body, a comet from the ToW Empire Greatswords kit, plus a collar and some gap-fillers made from Green Stuff or Milliput. When painting it, I loosely followed Grimdark Sisters of Sigmar Step-by-Step Painting Tutorial.

As a result, I now have a finished and satisfying set of heroines for the Sisters of Sigmar. I already have an idea and the bits, so at some point I’ll probably make another Sister Superior with a hammer and whip - and then it’ll be time to tackle the henchwomen. 

Poskładałem nową Augurkę. To raczej prosta konwersja z ciałkiem WH40K Adepta Sororitas Imagifier, kometą z ToW Empire Greatswords oraz kołnierzem i zapchajdziurami z GS-u. Malowałem mniej więcej zgodnie z moim tutorialem (link w angielskiej wersji językowej powyżej).

Mam w efekcie skończony satysfakcjonujący zestaw bohaterek do Sióstr Sigmara. Jest już pomysł i bitsy, więc zrobię pewnie jeszcze kiedyś kolejną Siostrę Przełożoną z młotkiem i biczem, a potem trzeba będzie skonfrontować się z popleczniczkami.

The Blood of the Bull

Zuldrakka the Hateful was once the Despot of an army obliterated by the scions of the Hunter God. From the ashes of that defeat, she swore vengeance upon all who worship Kurnoth. She now wages a bitter, merciless war of retribution, accompanied by the few soldiers who survived:

• Grisk Back-stabba, a hobgoblin scout and assassin, ever eager to slash bellies and open throats;

• Morudok, a seasoned veteran and Zuldrakka’s loyal bodyguard, who fights with brutal ferocity, wielding twin maces imbued with the essence of flaming daemons;

• Imnidrin, once the proud bearer of the Banner of the Blood of the Bull;

• Tokkor the Immolator, who unleashes great gouts of black flame at his mistress’s command.
