Grandfather's Gardeners

Here's something unusual for my blog: a whole warband at once. What's more, this is the second Grandfather's Gardeners team I've painted, and I'd never posted a group photo of the previous one — until now. So, here's what you'll find below:

• a group photo of the pinkish-patina Grandfather's Gardeners I painted earlier, along with links to pictures of the individual models;

Strewg / Phlegmus / Dripterus / Slunge / Squort

Rzecz wyjątkowa: wrzucam na raz całą bandę, a - co więcej - jest to druga taka, którą pomalowałem. Zdjęć grupowych pierwszej nigdy (aż do teraz) nie wrzuciłem, zapraszam więc na gratkę jak rzadko:

• grupowe zdjęcie pierwszych pomalowanych przeze mnie, różowiutko-patynowych Ogrodników Dziadka wraz z linkami do indywidualnych foteczek (powyżej);
• grupowe zdjęcie drugiej pomalowanej przeze mnie ekipy Plaguebearerów, tym razem zielonkawo-fioletowawej (powyżej);
• indywidualne zdjęcia tych zielonkawych (poniżej).

Knives of the Crone

Fanatical believers in the creed of the prophetic goddess Morai-Heg, led by the seer Kaerna Vix, who reads the viscera of slain foes to glean her deity's desires. A cadre of killers ensure Vix's visions come to pass: Tazari - serving as Kaerna's right hand, Krieta - eagerly butchering those who draw her master's gaze, Azphel - ready to put a crossbow bolt through distant foes.

Knives of the Crone - Azphel Kitbash

Azphel – the last miniature from the Knives of the Crone Warhammer Underworlds warband. I found a more interesting use for his original body, so I attached his head to parts from the Khainite Shadowstalkers box. I sculpted the missing bits and patched it up with green stuff.

Ostatni ludzik z Knives of the Crone - Azphel. Dla jego oryginalnego ciałka znalazłem ciekawsze w mojej ocenie zastosowanie, więc głowę przykleiłem do części z pudełka Khainite Shadowstalkers. Coś tam dorzeźbiłem i połatałem greenstuffem.

And bang! I am painting another Warhammer Underworlds warband: Knives of the Crone. Tazari is the first one.

Jaws of Itzl - Kro-Jax

The last serious guy from the Warhammer Underworlds Jaws of Itzl warband: Kro-Jax. To make him look more angry and to make it easier to tell him apart from the other lizards, I painted him in warmer, reddish colours.

And boom, the second lizard from the Warhammer Underworlds Jaws of Itzl warband: So-Kar.

Phlegmus, the final mini from the Warhammer Underworlds Grandfather's Gardeners warband.

Borgit's Beastgrabbaz

Borgit Wolf-Killa, fancying himself a hunter, moves on Embergard to seek signs of the huge troll Trugg and to hunt anything fleeing the Skaven invasion. He's accompanied by Snagz and Dregg (used as bait), Uglug the troll and Rigg and Shamm, who are pretending to be Uglug's pet squig.

Borgit's Beastgrabbaz - Rigg and Shamm

A new take on the Squig Herder concept - Squig Herders dressed as a Squig :D This is a mini of Rigg and Shamm from the Borgit's Beastgrabbaz Warhammer Underworlds warband. I'm continuing with the albino squig color scheme introduced in Grinkrak's Looncourt warband.
