Grandfather's Gardeners

Here's something unusual for my blog: a whole warband at once. What's more, this is the second Grandfather's Gardeners team I've painted, and I'd never posted a group photo of the previous one — until now. So, here's what you'll find below:

• a group photo of the pinkish-patina Grandfather's Gardeners I painted earlier, along with links to pictures of the individual models;
• a group photo of the second team of Plaguebearers I painted, this time in greenish-purple hues;
• individual photos of the greenish ones.

Strewg / Phlegmus / Dripterus / Slunge / Squort

• grupowe zdjęcie pierwszych pomalowanych przeze mnie, różowiutko-patynowych Ogrodników Dziadka wraz z linkami do indywidualnych foteczek (powyżej);
• grupowe zdjęcie drugiej pomalowanej przeze mnie ekipy Plaguebearerów, tym razem zielonkawo-fioletowawej (powyżej);
• indywidualne zdjęcia tych zielonkawych (poniżej).

Grandfather's Gardeners - Phlegmus

Phlegmus, the final mini from the Warhammer Underworlds Grandfather's Gardeners warband.

Phlegmus, ostatni ludzik z underworldsowej ekipy Ogrodników Dziadka.

Mój drugi model z Ogrodników Dziadka: Squort.

Grandfather's Gardeners - Slunge

I still got two Zikkit's Tunnelpack minis to finish, but I needed a quick change before painting Zikkit himself and a miniature Doom Wheel. I turned to another Warhammer Underworlds warband, Grandfather's Gardeners. Here's Slunge, one of its Plaguebearers.

The Wurmspat

Horrified by vision of curse in which nothing stay dead long enough to rot and the effects of entropy are perpetually undone, the sorcerer Fecula Flyblown sought the aid of Nurgle to halt the spread of this un-plague. Along with her favored bodyguards she travelled in stomach of a god-sent Wyrmaggot which disgorged them in a tide of streaming vomit into the heart of Beastgrave Mountain where they are to spread the filth so beloved of their deity.

Sepsimus / Fecula / Ghulgoch

The Wurmspat's Fecula Flyblown

There've been Ghulgoch and Sepsimus, now it's time for Fecula :) A shot of whole troublesome trio to be posted on Saturday.

Byli Ghulgoch i Sepsimus, jest i Fecula :) W sobotę zdjęcie całego trefnego trio.

The Wurmspat's Sepsimus, Plaguesworn

The work on the Wurmspat continues. Sepsimus joins Ghulgoch.

Prace nad Wurmspatem trwają. Do Ghulgocha dołącza Sepsimus.

The Wurmspat's Ghulgoch the Butcher

I didn't see it coming - it seems I am gonna paint all the warbands from current Warhammer Underworlds season. The Ogre is initially assembled. Can't wait to get my hands on the new orcs and dark elves as well. And I've just begun painting Nurgle's Wurmspat, having a color scheme tested on the first mini: Ghulgoch the Butcher.

No i właśnie zacząłem malować przedostatnią z obecnie dostępnych band - nurgle'owy Wurmspat.

FKB XXXIX: CoC Carnival Master & Co.

"Ulepek". W pierwszym odruchu temat XXXIX Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego chciałem wykorzystać jako pretekst do ukończenia przygotowanego do malowania niemal trzy lata temu Mistrza Karnawału. Pamiętając o nawiązaniu Pepe do postaci Plastusia, dorzuciłem do kompletu modelik nawiązujący sylwetką zarówno do kultowego bohatera, jak i głównego gospodarza podstawki.

At the beginning I planned to use the topic of 39th Mini Blog Carnival - Clay Man - as a motivation to finally paint Carnival Master I prepared nearly three years ago. Then I realized it would be a waste not to sculpt something new. Because this month's theme-giver have reminded us of Plastuś, character from a retro Polish animated movie, I decided to make a little addition, something in-between guy from the cartoon and the Carnival Master himself.
