I've painted most of Warhammer Underworlds warbands, but I neglected some along the way. Now I'm trying to make up for it. Here's Targor, the beginning of my version of one of the two oldest WHU Teams: Garrek's Reavers. My aim is to make them look more badass and less fancy. I'm removing some ornaments and swapping some heads. I hope you like it!
Zaproponowany przez Kapitana Haka temat Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego - „Broda” - postanowiłem wykorzystać jako pretekst do wzięcia się za projekt odwlekany od niepamiętnych czasów. Założeniem jest odpicowanie jednej z dwóch najstarszych band do WHU z nordyckim twistem. A wiadomo: jak wikingi, to i brody. Skandynawski kierunek interpretacji wyznaczyła świetna praca Borgnine'a: Sons of Skalv. W przeciwieństwie do zdolnego kolegi, zdecydowałem się jednak zachować część ikonografii Khorne'a. Oto pierwszy ludek: Targor.

Wyjątkowo złodupco wyszedł i też mi się podoba. Kolejny na tym tle wypada jakoś dobrotliwie i trochę się martwię. No ale nic, cała nadzieja, że w ciągu najbliższych dwóch dób jeszcze wyjdzie na złola. Dzięki za wizytę i komentarz :)
UsuńSweet, great many good bits from those marauder horsemen. It was briefly available a couple months ago but alas, it sold out too quickly. Are you planning to play Mordheim with these lads or are they for showcasing ?
OdpowiedzUsuńThere are some great heads in the Marauder Horsemen box (and some not that great too). Luckily, my brother has a collection of various Chaos bits. He let me go through it and fetch some (like this head and the Arnulf's one (from the Marauders on foot)).
UsuńIf anywhere - I'd probably use them within their native system: Warhammer Underworlds. But now you suggested it - I see an opportunity to make them fit WHU and Mordheim as well (as Middenheimers). I'll think about it when painting the next three guys :P
