Here comes the fourth profiteer: Dead-Eye Lund. (Przed nim pomalowani zostali: Gharrod Alensen,  Enrik Ironhail oraz Khazgan Drakkskewer).

Thundrik's Profiteers' Garodd Alensen

After quite heavily converted Ylthari's Guardians I wanted to paint something quick and needing no additional preparations. Because I got an idea how to convert part of warbands I haven't painted yet  (Garrek's, Farstriders, Averon's and Zarbag's), I've chosen the one I like the way it is: Thundrik's Profiteers. Garrod Alensen was the first to paint.

Po dość mocno konwertowanych Strażnikach Ylthari chciałem pomalować coś na szybko, bez długotrwałych przygotowań. Na część niepomalowanych jeszcze band (Garreków, Farstriderów, Averonów i Zarbagów) mam pomysły przeróbek. Same z siebie bardzo podobały mi się natomiast figurki ekipy Thundrika, więc to one trafiły na warsztat. Jako pierwszy - Garodd Alensen.

FKB LVIII - Ghouls & Crypt Horror

Being a skirmish games fan I have rarely thought about whole units and armies and rarely painted them. However, as time passed - mainly thanks to my Mordheim undead warband - I happened to have almost enough ghouls to make a complete rectangular warhammer unit. Partially because of june's FKB topic given by Zielony Skaven - a horde - and partially as a break from other projects I managed to finish a ghoul unit lead by a crypt horror.

Jako fanowi skirmishy, niezbyt często zdarzało mi się grać całymi oddziałami. Rzadko też brałem się za ich malowanie. Z czasem, głównie za sprawą ekipy undeadów do Mordheim, uzbierało mi się na tyle dużo ghouli, że do złożenia warhammerowego "klocka" niewiele brakowało. Trochę w ramach przerw między innymi projektami, a trochę z okazji Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego pt. "Horda" (by Zielony Skaven) udało się wszystko dopiąć.

Ylthari's Guardians

A finishing touch for my Ylthari's Guardians was to find a place to put bits previously removed in conversion process - Skhathael's spite and Gallanghann's amphora. In the end I am satisfied with the result, despite the fact that for the latter it is not easily visible from the front. That's why there's a photo of Gallanghann's rear side on the bottom. It took more time than I thought it would, but it was a very fun project. 

Na ostatnią prostą prac na Strażą Ylthari zostawiłem sobie trudne w mojej ocenie decyzje projektowe: gdzie po konwersjach Skhathaela i Gallanghanna umieścić duszka i amforę. Koniec końców jestem usatysfakcjonowany z decyzji, choć w przypadku drugiego z panów od frontu jego atrybut jest raczej mało dostrzegalny - stąd na dole dodatkowe zdjęcie dżentelmena od tylnej furtki. Choć całość zajęła mi więcej czasu niż bym się spodziewał, bardzo przyjemna była to robota.
