The Grymwatch's Duke's Harriers

Having ended with the Royal Butcher, I started converting one resurrectable Grymwatch character and all the named ones. I've simultaneously painted those members of the warband who needed only little upgrading or were good as they had been - like Duke's Harriers for example.

Ukończywszy prace nad królewskim rzeźnikiem, wziąłem się za konwertowanie jednego wskrzeszalnego i wszystkich imiennych członków Ponurej Straży. Równolegle malowałem jednak te figurki, których ulepszenia były minimalne albo w których nie było nic do zmiany. Całkiem bez konwersji obyły się na przykład "sokoły" Diuka.

The Grymwatch's Royal Butcher

As usually, having started painting a new warband (the Grymwatch this time) I tried colors on models I am not going to convert. Royal Butcher was painted as the first one.

Standardowo już, zaczynając nową bandę - tym razem the Grymwatch, wypróbowałem planowane kolory na modelach, których nie będę konwertował. Na pierwszy ogień poszedł Royal Butcher. Podobają mi się te ghoule :)

FKB LXIIb: Godsworn Hunt's Grawl II

Last time I mentioned that there's gonna be Grawl in new version. Here it is. As addition I post photos of both Grawls and consider the October's theme for Polish mini blogs - "More than one animal" - completed.

Wspominałem ostatnio, że z okazji Karnawału będzie Grawl w nowej wersji. I jest. Dorzucam zdjęcia we dwóch i temat FKB, "Więcej niż jedno zwierzę", uznaję za zrealizowany.

FKB LXIIa: Godsworn Hunt's Grawl

Thank to Micz of Paint and Kill blog "More than one animal" is October's theme for Polish Mini Blogs. I found it convenient, because I was to convert Grawl, the original Godsworn Hunt's dog, anyway. The difference is I painted the original mini ("one animal") as well and there's gonna be a second part next week (making it "more than").

Za sprawą Micza z bloga Paint and Kill tematem 62 Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego jest "Więcej niż jedno zwierzę". O tyle mi to pasowało, że oryginalny Grawl - piesek Łowców Zaprzysiężonych Mrocznym Potęgom niezbyt mi się podobał, więc i tak zamierzałem skonwertować coś w jego miejsce. A tak pomalowałem też jego i w efekcie powstanie dwuczęściowy cykl. Dziś na razie jedno zwierzę, a drugie - czyli "więcej niż" - za tydzień.

I liked the original Theddra mini the least from whole Godsworn Hunt warband, so I changed it the most. In the end she looks like this:

Oryginalna figurka Theddry podobała mi się najmniej z całej ekipy, więc najbardziej ją przerobiłem. Koniec końców wygląda tak:

Godsworn Hunt's Grundann

We've lately joked with commenters (cheers, Pepe!; cheers, QC!) about "darkness" of my photos. I felt like doing something about it and - as Maciek (connorseanery) advised (thanks!) - I tried to play with .raws. Despite non-white background I managed to get the photo closer to the reality (there is still some room for progress though). Grundann Blood-Eye is - after Shond - my next attempt to paint interesting non-metallic metal.

Dowcipkowaliśmy ostatnio z kolegami w komentarzach o tym, że mam kłopot z "mrocznością" moich zdjęć (pozdro, Pepe!; pozdro, QC!). Czując się z lekka wywołany do tablicy, za radą Maćka (dzięki, connorseanery!) pokręciłem trochę z .rawami i mimo nie-białego tła udało mi się zbliżyć nieco z fotką do tego, jak figurka wygląda naprawdę (choć jest jeszcze pole do poprawy). Grundann Krawooki rozwija zapoczątkowane Shondem dążenie do zmalowania ciekawego niemetalicznego metalu :)
