FKB CXX: Podsumowanie

Za nami 120. edycja Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego. W „Sierpem i młotem” udział wzięli:

Quidamcorvus - człowiek z zasadami do wyposażonych w młoty Wojowników Burzy.

Kapitan Hak z pomnikiem Sigmara Młotodzierżcy.

Koyoth optujący za tym, że jak sierpem i młotem, to właściwie też cepem.

Ja: siostry Sigmara, w ich rękach dwa młoty,
naprzeciw dwie sztuki czerwonej hołoty.

Wszystkim uczestnikom serdecznie dziękuję za udział w zabawie, a w imieniu gospodarza - Koyotha z Shadow Grey - zapraszam do kolejnej, 121. edycji FKB.

Sisters Superior vs. Brethren

The passing August was a good month for Mordheim stuff. I kitbashed three new minis:

• Cult of the Possessed Brethren #1
• Cult of the Possessed: Brethren #2
• Sisters of Sigmar: Sister Superior #3

and gave a new equipment to an older one (Sisters of Sigmar: Sister Superior #2). The more you do, the more ideas come to you, so it seems that there will be some new minis for the Witch Hunter warband rather sooner than later. However, for at least one project I'm getting back to Warhammer Underworlds now. Stay tuned! 

Sisters Superior #3 & #2 vs. Brethren #1 & #2

Starałem się dobrać publikowane w sierpniu modele tak, żeby - w myśl zaproponowanego hasła Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego: „Sierpem i Młotem” - dało się znaleźć trochę młotów (za sprawą sióstr Sigmara) i trochę  czerwonego (possessedowi braciszkowie). Do sierpów najbliżej postawionym na sztorc kosom ekipy Drepur's Wraithcreepers, ale chyba i bez tego jest wystarczająco na temat :)

Sisters of Sigmar - Sister Superior #2 revised

After making the third Sister Superior for my Sisters of Sigmar kitbash warband project, I decided to return to the second of them. I downsized the hammer and the whip to make them look more realistic. In the last picture, you can see the state before and after the modifications. More photos of the mini before the revision can be found in the original Sisters of Sigmar - Sister Superior #2 post.

Na fali tworzenia trzeciej z sióstr przełożonych do mojej kitbashowej bandy Sióstr Sigmara postanowiłem wrócić do drugiej z nich. Młot i bicz przeszły downsizing urealniający nieco proporcje. Na ostatniej foteczce można obejrzeć stan przed i po modyfikacjach.

• Warhammer Fantasy Battles - Empire Knigths of the White Wolf: hammer head / Age of Sigmar - Stormcast Eternals Vanguard-Hunters: axe back;

Sisters of Sigmar - Sister Superior #3

After an over two-year-long break I'm returning to Sisters of Sigmar Warband. Here's the third Sister Superior. I took the opportunity to downsize the hammer of Sister Superior #2, so probably she's gonna return in the new version soon.

Po ponad dwuletniej przerwie wracam do bandy Sióstr Sigmara. Oto trzecia z Sióstr Przełożonych :D Postanowiłem przy okazji przeprowadzić downsizing młotka drugiej z nich, więc pewnie wkrótce pojawi się w nowej odsłonie.

The Cult of the Possessed - Brethren #2 Kitbash

I assembled another #OldschoolNouveau Brethren loosely based on the classic Mordheim designs.

This time I had in mind the model described on Stuff of Legends as "Brethren w/ Mace and Axe 2". I used the following parts:

• As in case of Brethren #1, the base is the model from the Cawdor Necromunda gang. I took the legs, torso, arms and masked face from there.
• The dagger was borrowed from Necromunda gang Delaque.
• The mace was taken from the new AoS Clanrats.
• I cut the bird skull from Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower Tzaangor, and the frontal eight-pointed star - from a small old box of chaos cultists for WH40k.
• I also used green stuff, milliput, plastic putty from Vallejo, cables, thread and paper.

Poszedłem za ciosem i złożyłem z poniższych części drugiego Brethrena luźno nawiązującego do klasycznych mordheimowych wzorów:

• Tak jak poprzednio, podstawę stanowi model z gangu Cawdor do Necromundy. Podobnie jak w przypadku kolegi numer jeden stamtąd są nogi, tułów, ręce i zamaskowana twarz.
• Sztyletu użyczyl necromundowy gang Delaque.
• Maczugę wziąłem z nowych AoS-owych Clanratów.
• Ptasią czaszkę wyciąłem Tzaangorowi z pudełka Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower, a frontalną ósmoramienną gwiazdkę - z małego starego pudełka kultystów chaosu do WH40k.
• Użyłem też green stuffu, milliputu, plastic putty od Vallejo, kabelków, nitki i papieru.

The Cult of the Possessed - Brethren #1 Kitbash

It's my third #OldschoolNouveau mini for Mordheim Cult of the Possessed after Magister and Possessed. It's loosely inspired by the mini described on Stuff of Legends as "Brethren w/ Mace and Axe 1". I based the model on a Necromunda Cawdor ganger and added some bits:

• Necromunda: Cawdor Gang - legs, torso, hands, face mask
• Warhammer Underworlds: Hexbane Hunters - axe
• Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Skaventide Clanrats - rat skull
• Other materials: green stuff, milliput, plastic putty, cables, thread, a piece of paper

Wróciłem do kitbashowania inspirowanego oryginalnymi modelami Cult of the Possessed. Bazę do pierwszego Brethrena wziałęm z klasycznego w kontekście mordheimowych konwersji pudełka gangu Cawdor do Necromundy. Dorzuciłem parę bitsów (lista poniżej) - i jest:

• Podstawę stanowi pozbawiony futurystycznych elementów model z necromundowego gangu Cawdor. Z tego pudełka pochodzą nogi, tułów, ręce i zamaskowana twarz.
• Topór wziąłem z underworldsowych Witch Hunterów - Hexbane's Hunters.
• Czaszkę szczura wyciąłem z nowych AoS-owych Clanratów.
• Użyłem też green stuffu, milliputu, plastic putty od Vallejo, kabelków, nitki i papieru.

Drepur's Wraithcreepers

The band of Glaivewraith Stalkers known as the Wraithcreepers were once noblemen who lived for the hunt, preying upon their vassals for sport. They revelled in their murderous pursuits, heedless of the cost for those unlucky enough enough to cross their path. The hunters serve at Nagash's whim now, being despatched to slay those who earn the Great Necromancer's ire.
