Darkoath Chieftain

Po czterech grach w Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower mam już swoją ulubioną postać :) Mój Darkoath Chieftain wyszedł z próby Chamon z kolejnym fragmentem amuletu i wyczesaną Zaklętą Tarczą. Jakby tego było mało, do świetnej umiejętności War Dancer dodał całkiem przyzwoity Vengeful Strike. Na pamiątkę tego sukcesu, pomalowałem reprezentującą go figurkę i umieściłem na podstawce inspirowanej finałową komnatą ostatnio przebytego lochu :)

After fourth game of Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower, I have my favorite hero :) In the trial of Chamon my Darkoath Chieftain acquired the second piece of talisman and great Sorcerous Shield. Moreover, he added quite decent Vengeful Strike to his skill list containing very fine War Dancer ability. To commemorate this success, I painted mini representing him and placed it on a base inspired by the last chamber of the dungeon.

FKB XXII: Questor Knight

Tematem XXII Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego jest Święty Graal w interpretacji dowolnej.  Początkowo chciałem pójść po najmniejszej linii oporu i przeprowadziłem następujący procesik myślowy:

1. Questor Knight kojarzy się z Questing Knightami.
2. Questing Knighci szukali Świętego Graala.
3. Kurtyna!

Przyszło mi jednak do głowy, że Silver Tower to pierwsza "stołowa" gra z uniwersum Warhammera, którą mam. Dotychczas kupowałem raczej pojedyncze figurki. Nowy nabytek jest więc kamieniem milowym w moim zbieractwie :)

Podsumowując: W roli  karnawałowego Graala przedstawiam pierwszego pomalowanego bohatera mojej pierwszej planszowobitewnej  gry od Games Workshop. Przed Państwem Questor Knight! :)

The topic of 22nd Mini Blog Carnival was to interpret the Holy Grail somehow. At the beginning, I planned  to go the easy way:

1. You can easily associate Questor Knight with Questing Knights.
2. Questing Knights were looking for the Holy Grail.
3. Ta-dah!

Then I realize there can be another interpretation. Silver Tower is the first tabletop game from Warhammer universe I've ever bought. I've been buying mainly single miniatures so far. The new addition to my collection is consequently a milestone in my hobby.

Summing up: As my Grail Carnival entry, I present you the first hero from my first Games Workshop board game. I give you the Questor Knight! :)

Brimstone Horrors

Ze względu na konkurs "Piekło i Niebo" na fejsbukowej grupie "Bejcą i pędzlem", zacząłem malowanie Silver Towera od najbardziej piekielnych typków z ferajny - Brimstone Horrorów. Oto wesoła gromadka tego, na co rozpadają się Blue Horrory :)

Because of "Heaven & Hell" painting contest held by "Bejcą i pędzlem" Facebook group, I started painting Warhammer Quest minis with the most hellish of monsters inhabiting the Silver Tower - Brimstone Horrors. I present a group of joyful guys appearing when a Blue Horror dies :)

Dla wszystkich zainteresowanych i siebie samego - na okoliczność malowania Eshin albo innych bladoskórych figurek - zamieszczam spis farb użytych na skórze Verminkinów w kolejności chronologicznej.

To whom it may concern and for me as well (in case of painting Eshin or other minis with pale complexion) I hereby present a list of paints used on Verminkin in chronological order.

2. Rozcieńczony przy użyciu Lahmian Medium Reikland Fleshshade na całą skórę.

2. Reikland Fleshshade thinned with Lahmian Medium all over the skin.

3. Cienkie warstwy Pallid Wych Flesh na całą skórę poza zagłębieniami.

4. Miks Ratskin Flesh i Pallid Wych Flesh na nos i uszy.

3. Thin layers of Pallid Wych Flesh in all non-recessed skin areas.

4. Mix of Ratskin Flesh and Pallid Wych Flesh on nose and ears.

5. Eshin Grey na futro

5. Eshin Grey on fur.

Verminkin #4

Odbywający się w przyszłą sobotę turniej Warheim Fantasy Skirmish, w którym zamierzam wystawić bandę z Eshin, zmotywował mnie do powrotu do moich Skavenów :) Szykuję posiłki, na wypadek gdyby w trakcie kampanii udało się wyrwać trochę spaczenia! Na pierwszy ogień poszedł Verminkin (MH) / Rynsztokowiec (WFS).

The fact I am going to use an Eshin warband in Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament, taking place on the next Saturday, motivated me to return to my Skaven :) I am preparing reinforcements in case I collect some wyrdstone :) Verminkin (MH) / Gutter Runner (WFS) was the first to be painted.
