The Blood of the Bull

Zuldrakka the Hateful was once the Despot of an army obliterated by the scions of the Hunter God. From the ashes of that defeat, she swore vengeance upon all who worship Kurnoth. She now wages a bitter, merciless war of retribution, accompanied by the few soldiers who survived:

• Grisk Back-stabba, a hobgoblin scout and assassin, ever eager to slash bellies and open throats;

• Morudok, a seasoned veteran and Zuldrakka’s loyal bodyguard, who fights with brutal ferocity, wielding twin maces imbued with the essence of flaming daemons;

• Imnidrin, once the proud bearer of the Banner of the Blood of the Bull;

• Tokkor the Immolator, who unleashes great gouts of black flame at his mistress’s command.

Ratling Sniper

I’ve built up a bit of a backlog when it comes to publishing photos of the Warhammer Miniature of the Month models I painted last year but never posted. With the new year and its time deficits now upon me, it seems like a good opportunity to finally start sharing them - beginning with October’s Ratling Sniper.

Po pięknie przebimbanej przerwie świątecznej dorwał mnie styczniowy niedoczas. Realizowanej obecnie ChaDecji skończyć nie zdążyłem, ale nie ma tego złego - mam w odwodzie parę niewrzuconych zdjęć warhammerowych figurek miesiąca. O, proszę bardzo, na przykład październikowego Ratlinga. Zobaczymy jeszcze, ale jak nie będzie lepszego pomysłu, wyłgam się krzaczkami na jego podstawce z prowadzonego przez Pana Rybę FKB pt. „Flora”.

Happy Holidays! A merry Squig

I associate the holidays with red, green and gold ornaments. Since squigs are traditionally red in color and bauble-like in shape, I took the season as an opportunity to paint one and hone my squig-painting skills. I think it's a bit more interesting than my past gnarly squigs – the holiday squig from 2 years ago and the two squigs I painted for my vintage Zarbag's Gitz – and it's still red enough to count as a classic squig. Enjoy the mini and the holiday season! Merry Squigmas!

Zdarza mi się czasem o tej porze roku zmieścić coś okołoświątecznego. Nie inaczej jest tym razem. Za sprawą Maniexa i zaproponowanego przezeń tematu Figurkowego Karnawału Blogowego - „Ale bombka” - postanowiłem pomalować squiga: bombkowego w kształcie i świątecznego w wydźwięku (bo uśmiechniętego od ucha do ucha i jak na mnie mało szarego, a do tego sfotografowanego na jednej z fotek w odpowiednim anturażu). Wesołych Świąt!

Marudok is the third model from The Blood of the Bull warband. In my opinion, it’s an accurate adaptation of old-school Chaos Dwarves, updated to the current scale, level of detail, and overall "seriousness".
