Pale skaven skin step-by-step tutorial

After posting pictures of Skittershank's Clawpack on Warhammer Underworlds groups, I was asked for a tutorial for painting pale skaven skin. Here it is.

Skittershank's Clawpack

Always seeking fresh sources of dark magic to aid in their murderous plans, the skaven scrambled to see which enclave of shadowy assassins would be the first to investigate the Nethermaze. Clan Stryk won this desperate race, dispatching a kill-squad led by one of their most ambitious assassins – the young throat-cutter Slynk Skittershank.

After a short break for painting the Cursed City Bat Swarms I am coming back to Skittershank's Clawpack. After finishing Snyp Padpaw here, there's only model of the the boss left to paint.

Skittershank's Clawpack Kinwhisper

I proceed with painting Skittershank's Clawpack - a new Skaven warband for Warhammer Underworlds.  After two rather regular henchman, Krowch't and Skulck, there are only cool minis left to paint. The first of them is Kreep Kinwhisper.

Lecę dalej z nowymi Skavenami do WHU. Teraz zostało już samo gęste. Jako pierwszy z wypasionych modeli pomalowany został Kreep Kinwhisper.

During the summer, there's little time for painting, so I picked something quick&easy and began painting Skaven from the Skittershank's Clawpack team. Krowch't went first.

W wakacje jakoś mało czasu na malowanie, więc na szybko wziąłem się za szczurki z  ekipy Skittershank's Clawpack. Na pierwszy ogień poszedł Krowch't.
