Vortemis the All-seeing and his sworn acolytes serve the will of the Gaunt Summoners, the nine masters of the mysterious Silver Towers. The Eyes of the Nine seek to convert captured shadeglass relics into beacons of arcane power, sorcerous lodestones that will let spill forth the madness of the Realm of Chaos into the Mortal Realms, allowing mighty Tzeentch, god of magic and sorcery, to claim dominion over them.
There have been acolites (Narvia & Turosh), horrors and tzaangor of Eyes of the Nine, so now it's time for Vortemis the All-seeing, a summoner and a leader of the tzeentchian party. Soon there will be a group photo as well.

A tzaangor named K'Charik is the next model painted for my Warhammer Underworlds Eyes of the Nine warband. There's only the boss left to paint and the whole thing is done.

Eyes of the Nine, which were to be a break between projects, became a project itself and it's getting nearer and nearer to completion. I re-based a Silver Tower Blue Horror (I liked it more than the one from the warband) and painted Brimstone Horrors to match its flame. There are only two cool EotN minis left to be painted (Tzaangor and Gaunt Summoner), but it seems they gonna wait - I am beginning to think about painting some stuff for Halloween now.
Jakimś cudem przerwa między projektami, jaką miało być malowanie pojedynczych modeli do Eyes of the Nine, mnie wciągnęłą i już bliżej niż dalej do skończenia całej ekipy. Przepodstawkowałem silvertowerowego blue horrora (podobał mi się bardziej niż ten z bandy) i pomalowałem pod kolor jego płomienia brimstone horrorki. Do malowania zostało już samo gęste - Tzaangor z dwurękolem i mały Gaunt Summonerek - ale chyba trochę poczekają, bo myśli uciekają mi już do Halloween.
Getting to painting Eyes of the Nine have been surprisingly easy lately (I bet it's because they're already primed and ready to paint) despite the fact I probably won't ever use them. I find it easier to just paint a warband you don't really care about than prepare, redesign and convert something you want to play with (like Bonereapers and Idoneth warbands in my case). Nevertheless, as Turosh had happened previously, Narvia has happened now.
Łatwo jakoś ostatnio przychodzi mi malowanie Eyes of the Nine (pewnie dlatego, że są złożeni i zapodkładowani i nie trzeba się nad tym szczególnie zastanawiać: siada się i maluje). W efekcie - mimo że pewnie nigdy nimi nie zagram - prace postępują, a lepiej rokujące bandy (Bonereapery, Idonethy), wobec których mam jakieś drobne konwersyjne plany, leżą odłogiem. Na ale nic. Był przypadkowy Turosh, jest i przypadkowa Narvia.
Having painted some Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower Horrors and the Gaunt Summoner a while ago I reminded myself how cool Tzeentch minis are. I decided to paint Warhammer Underworlds Eyes of the Nine crew in a similar, washed-out pallette. I squeezed a test model between other projects and here it is: a Kairic Acoloyte counting as Eyes of the Nine's Turosh.
Wróciwszy nie tak dawno temu do figurek z Silver Towera, przypomniałem sobie, że te tzeentchowe modele wcale nie są takie złe. Przyszło mi wtedy do głowy, żeby pomalować w wypranej palecie underworldsową ekipę Eyes of the Nine. Była akurat chwila między projektami, więc pilotażowo pomalowałem Kairic Acolyte'a, który w moich "oczkach" będzie robił za Turosha.
