Knives of the Crone

Fanatical believers in the creed of the prophetic goddess Morai-Heg, led by the seer Kaerna Vix, who reads the viscera of slain foes to glean her deity's desires. A cadre of killers ensure Vix's visions come to pass: Tazari - serving as Kaerna's right hand, Krieta - eagerly butchering those who draw her master's gaze, Azphel - ready to put a crossbow bolt through distant foes.

Knives of the Crone - Azphel Kitbash

Azphel – the last miniature from the Knives of the Crone Warhammer Underworlds warband. I found a more interesting use for his original body, so I attached his head to parts from the Khainite Shadowstalkers box. I sculpted the missing bits and patched it up with green stuff.

Ostatni ludzik z Knives of the Crone - Azphel. Dla jego oryginalnego ciałka znalazłem ciekawsze w mojej ocenie zastosowanie, więc głowę przykleiłem do części z pudełka Khainite Shadowstalkers. Coś tam dorzeźbiłem i połatałem greenstuffem.

Gryselle's Arenai - Traxya, the Aegis

After Gryselle's Arenai's Thrialla, the Lash, I painted Traxya, the Aegis. It doesn't seem like I'll be using the warband too much, so I aim to practice Non-Metallic Metals on the models. I am not too good at painting gold yet, but doing it is not as unpleasant as it used to be :D

Po gladiatorce z bacikiem pomalowałem taką z tarczą i mieczem. Nie wiążę z bandą wielkich planów na przyszłość i traktuję modele jako poligon doświadczalny NMM. W złoto jeszcze za bardzo nie umiem, ale przynajmniej męczę się przy nim mniej niż kiedyś :D

Gryselle's Arenai - Thrialla, the Lash

To catch up with the previous underworlds season before the new one drops, I started working on my last unpainted warband from Gnarlwood: Gryselle's Arenai. First up is Thrialla, the Lash.

The Shadeborn

Assassins sworn to Morathi, the Shadeborn were ostensibly dispatched to hunt down seditionists in Harrowdeep. Only the Shroud Queen Slythael knows their true goal – to discover how the labyrinth’s eldritch power might be harnessed by the High Oracle herself. This task has taken the Shadeborn into the bowels of Nethermaze, and will test their skills to the very limit.

I've begun painting the next Warhammer Underworlds warband - The Shadeborn - starting with Valyssa Umbrael. I am not 100% sure about using blue in the palette, but it seems it's gonna stick.

Morgwaeth's Blade-Coven

The visions of slaughter and echoes of battle have lead Morgwaeth the Bloodied and her murderous retinue to megalithic depths of Beastgrave. Honoring their deity with every kill, The Hag Queen and Daughters of Khaine found many offerings to the Lord of Murder in ancient halls of the mountain. Craving battle and seeking power through bloodshed, these graceful murderers renew and reinvigorate themselves with each gory ritual they perform.
