Having finished painting Warhammer Quest: Cursed City, I had to figure out what to tackle next. I settled on Mulgoth the Cleaver from Warhammer Quest: Dark Water :) I added some mushrooms and maggots to the base, along with a halo, a Nurgle eye and a three-circle icon on the model itself.
Taking advantage of the variety of textures on the model, I experimented with a few different products and painting techniques:
On the mutated arm, I tried out the glue technique that's been getting a lot of attention in the grimdark community lately.
For the armour, I started by adding some rusty and cracked textures and covering them with rust. Then I applied chipping medium and painted over it with acrylics. I chipped away some of the paint afterwards to reveal the rust underneath, and finished off with a bunch of weathering products (water-soluble products from Dirty Down, plus enamels and pigments from AK).
Korzystając z różnorodności modelu, poeksperymentowałem chemicznie i malarsko:
- Na koniec wjechały weatheringowe produkty Dirty Down (Rust, Verdigris), emalie i pigmenty AK Interactive (emalia Light Rust, pigment Medium Rust) i „normalne” farbki akrylowe.
